Competition will be tight, but fairways will be tighter

Brace yourself, because if you thought Tall Grass was going to be the easy course this weekend, think again.  Friday morning, over 10,000 ft of OB rope will be added to the rolling hills of Bancroft Bay in order to truly challenge the state of disc golf as we determine our next champion.  Be sure to stop out Friday for doubles to get a chance to practice this demanding layout that will ensure only the best will rise among the rest.

Welcome

2012 Minnesota State Champion Mitchell Privette

2012 Minnesota State Champion Mitchell Privette

Welcome to the official website of the Minnesota State Disc Golf Championships!  This website will be your guide to any and all information regarding the upcoming event.  Albert Lea will be home to this monumental event that is the beginning to what State Championships was intended for; Great challenging courses, player’s peak performances, recognizing disc golf communities from around the state, and bringing in-state and out-of-state competitors together for a good time.  This event will continue to travel around the state year after year for the reason that it is the “State” Championships, not the “Twin Cities Championships.  This year we will see if Team Ty Dyed member Mitchell Privette can defend his title as Open Pro Champion of the State of Disc Golf at the newly founded Oak Island Disc Golf Course and technically more challenged layout of Tall Grass.

Stay tuned for more info and updates on this event.

Yours Truly,

Critter
